Beagle were traditionally used in packs to hunt small animals by scent. In medieval times the term beagle was used as a generic description for smaller hounds. English hunters with the help of the beagle would track hares, pheasants, and quail. The beagle would also assist in the hunt for larger animals searching through the underbrush to flush out. The name beagle is thought to have originated either from the Celtic word "beag" which meant small or the french term "be'gueul" which means "gape throat"
Anna Clemann started Creature Focus Animal Photography in 2005. Based in Melbourne, Anna uses a variety of techniques and location options allowing for greater flexibility ensuring that each session is different to the last. Anna recently undertook a project called Pet Tails, along with two other pet photographers, Anna captured a variety of pets to produce a stunning coffee table book to assist the RSPCA Victoria. To date the project has raised over $25,000 for the RSPCA.
Claire Garett is a Perth based pet photographer who's style is colourful, natural & emotive. Claires aim is to capture the unique bond between you and your pet in natural images that make you smile each and every time you see them. As an animal lover, Claire donates her time for photography sessions to several rescues around Perth including K9 Rescue and Greyhounds As Pets.
